Some days the lack of hope in the world saddens me so much that if I allowed myself, I would fall into such a deep depression. I have been known to mention to others that I simply cannot imagine a world without Jesus. The hurts that people carry, the pain that they continue to hold on to, the lack of peace they present to the world . . . so much sadness, hopelessness, and confusion.
How grateful I am that I know the Comforter (the Holy Spirit) so that I can lean into Him and release the burdens of this world. That I can stand on the following verses and rely on the One that cares for and loves me more than even I can fathom.
That is the true HOPE that I can lean on. And today, I pray that you too can lean on these verses and find hope for today and your future as well.
